Last updated: 1 November 2026
These terms apply to every quotation, sample, order and delivery between Diamdisc (diamdisc.com, Linyi, Shandong, China, “we”, “us”) and a business customer (“you”). We sell to businesses only. By requesting a quotation or placing an order you accept these terms. Any terms on your purchase order that conflict with these terms do not apply unless we have agreed to them in writing.
1. Quotations
A quotation is valid for 30 days from its date unless it says otherwise. Prices are quoted in US dollars, exclusive of import duties, VAT and any charges in the country of destination. A quotation becomes a binding order only when we have confirmed your purchase order in writing (email is sufficient) and the deposit has been received.
2. Products and specifications
Every model is supplied to the specification sheet sent with the quotation: diameter, bore, rim or segment thickness, segment height, number of segments, maximum operating speed, wet or dry rating and the materials it is intended for. Diamond blades are consumable cutting tools. Cutting speed and blade life depend on the material, the machine, water supply and the operator, and figures given in our materials are typical values, not guarantees. Blades must be used within the marked maximum speed and for the materials stated on the specification sheet.
3. Minimum order and custom products
The minimum order is 300 pieces per standard model, unless the quotation states a different quantity. Custom specifications, such as a different segment height, bond or core, are available from 1,000 pieces per model and require approval of a pre-production sample. Private label products (your logo, colour and packaging) are made to your artwork, and you are responsible for the right to use any name, logo or design you supply.
4. Samples
Samples of standard models are supplied free of charge for evaluation before a first order; you pay the freight. Samples of custom specifications are produced after a sample deposit, which is credited against the first production order. Samples are supplied for testing and are not covered by the warranty in section 9.
5. Payment
Unless the quotation states otherwise: 30% deposit on order confirmation, and 70% against a copy of the bill of lading before the original documents are released. Payment is by bank transfer (T/T). Letters of credit are accepted for larger orders by prior agreement. Bank charges outside China are for your account. If a balance is not paid within 15 days of the bill of lading date we may hold the goods or the documents, and storage costs are charged to you.
6. Lead time and delivery
Standard models normally ship 15 to 25 days after the deposit is received and the artwork, if any, is approved. Lead times are estimates and start from the later of deposit receipt and artwork approval. Unless agreed otherwise, prices are FOB Qingdao (Incoterms 2020); CIF, CFR or DDP terms are available on request and are stated on the quotation. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to the carrier at the named port under the agreed Incoterm. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control, including port congestion, carrier delays, customs holds, raw material shortages or government action.
7. Packaging and export documents
Goods are packed in export cartons on pallets. Printed boxes, blister cards and labels are made to your approved artwork, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the importer details, barcodes, warnings and batch codes you ask us to print. We supply a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and, on request, a certificate of origin. Import clearance, duties and compliance with the regulations of the destination country are your responsibility.
8. Inspection and claims
You may inspect the goods at the factory before shipment, in person or through a third-party inspection company such as SGS or TÜV, at your cost. Please check the goods on arrival. Claims for shortages, wrong items or damage visible on delivery must be made in writing within 14 days of receipt, with photographs and the batch code from the packaging. Claims for defects not visible on delivery must be made within 90 days of receipt. Goods may not be returned without our written agreement.
9. Warranty
We warrant that the goods conform to the agreed specification sheet and are free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. If goods do not conform, we will, at our option, replace them, credit them against the next order or refund the price paid for the non-conforming items. This warranty does not cover normal wear of a consumable tool, damage caused by use above the marked speed, use on the wrong material, dry cutting of a wet-only blade, use on a damaged or unsuitable machine, or modification of the product. The remedies in this section are your only remedies for non-conforming goods.
10. Liability
Our total liability for any order, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, is limited to the price paid for the goods concerned. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Diamond blades are professional tools; you are responsible for passing on the safety information, speed marking and intended use to your customers.
11. Intellectual property
The Diamdisc name, product designs, specifications, photographs and the content of this website remain our property. You may use our product information to sell our products, but not to make, or have made, copies of them. Where you supply a brand, logo or design for private label products, you keep ownership of it and grant us the right to use it only to produce your order.
12. Website
Information on diamdisc.com is provided for business customers and is kept as accurate as we can, but specifications, prices and availability may change without notice; the quotation and specification sheet for your order take precedence over the website. We may change these terms at any time by publishing the new version on this page; the terms in force on the date of your order confirmation apply to that order. How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms and every order are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. We will try to resolve any dispute by discussion first. A dispute that cannot be settled this way will be submitted to the Shanghai International Arbitration Center for arbitration in Shanghai in English, and the award is final and binding on both parties.
