This policy explains what personal data diamdisc.com collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We are a business-to-business supplier of diamond blades. We do not sell to consumers and we do not run advertising on this site.
1. Who we are
Diamdisc is the export brand of HOWOLL (Shandong Haowo Tools), a diamond tool factory in Linyi, Shandong, China. For the purposes of UK GDPR and EU GDPR we are the data controller for the data described in this policy.

2. What we collect and why
Quote requests and email
When you use the quote form or email us, we collect what you give us: your name, company, email address, country, phone or WhatsApp number if you add it, the products you are interested in, quantities, and any message or attachment. We use this to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotations and samples, and, if you order, to process and ship the order and issue export documents. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract. Where you contact us on behalf of a company, we rely on our legitimate interest in handling trade enquiries.
Follow-up messages
After an enquiry we may send you follow-up emails about that enquiry, such as price updates, new sizes in the same product line or lead-time changes. This is based on our legitimate interest in continuing a trade conversation you started. Every such email includes a way to tell us to stop, and we stop.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request. We use these only to keep the site secure and working. They are kept for a short period by the host and then deleted.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies needed to run it, such as the cookie that remembers your cookie choice. If we add visitor statistics in future, those cookies will be set only after you agree in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time from the banner or the cookie settings link in the footer. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
3. Who sees your data
Your enquiry is read by our export sales team. To run the site and answer you we use these service providers, each of which processes data on our instructions:
- Hostinger, web hosting. Server located in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Cloudflare, DNS, security and content delivery.
- Alibaba Cloud (Aliyun) enterprise mail, our email service.
If you place an order, the details needed to make and ship it are shared with our factory in China and with the freight forwarder or carrier. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
4. International transfers
Our sales team and factory are in China, so the data you send us is read and stored there as well as on our email and hosting servers. China is not covered by a UK or EU adequacy decision. We protect transferred data by limiting access to the people handling your enquiry, keeping it only as long as described below, and applying the standard contractual safeguards in our contracts with service providers where they are available. 5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 2 years from the last message, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back.
- Order and export records: 7 years, as required for tax and customs purposes.
- Form submissions stored in the website: deleted within 90 days of being copied to our email.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or ask us to restrict it. Email [email protected] and we reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority, for example the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes we tell existing contacts by email.
